Fantastic restaurant with excellent service. Have been many times in the last year and will continue to do so. Sunday lunches are to die for!!
A warm and friendly restaurant/pub.Fantastic meal, homemade stilton/apple/walnut pate for starters, haddock for main and then a passion fruit meringue tower for dessert. The service was superb! I would however advise to book as the excellent reputation of the quality of the food and service means they get booked up quickly and not just at weekends.
Lovely pub, have been on many occasions and always recommend it to friends and family. It is a family run business and you can tell this by the warm and friendly welcome you’ll receive each and every time.
We’ve been both at lunch and in the evening and had a fantastic meal on every occasion.
Absolutely love this place! We’ve been on many occasions, from a simple quick lunch to celebrating my wife’s 40 birthday. We love the fact that you can choose between the lovely old country pub and the modern Miller’s restaurant.
We’ve also tried the special two course lunch for £10 and believe me don’t be put off by the price because you really get a fantastic meal.
I would advise you book however because each and every time we’ve been it always seems to be busy.
