The Crown Hotel was a former coaching inn and overlooks the quiet, tree-lined green known as The Buttlands. The hotel was refurbished in 2002 to retain its character whilst creating an atmosphere of classic elegance.
The hotel offers 12 light and airy, luxury en-suite bedrooms, with flat screen TV and DVD players. The 2 family suites also boast a separate children’s rooms and baby monitoring facilities.
Whether you choose a casual bar meal or a formal dinner in our à la carte restaurant, the menus feature traditional favourites, the best of modern British cuisine and dishes influenced from around the world. Every dish is cooked and presented with flair and imagination and is accompanied by a superb wine list.
